    (Sharon) If talking about ICT research, I guess the main areas of it cover ICT tools, ICT policy, , ICT standards, ICT in teaching and learning. Other specific ICT research include ICT and equity research, ICT and online community, ICT cross curriculum research, ICT and educational change, ICT and leadership, etc. ICT could also be conducted by education level, such as early childhood, primary shcool, middle school, higher education.

    (Azalea)The research on ITE may be concluded into two sides, theoretical and practical. From theoretical side, the research on ITE mostly focus on strategy planning, system managing, and implementation assessing. From practical side, the research would be inclined to implement, monitor and assess the infrastructures including hardware and software.

    The main area of research with ITE is to investigate the current issues in nowaday's ITE situation. For exmaple, the research on how to improve the current ITE usage in today's educational system and policy.

    (Joe) Research into ITE should ultimately be focussed on either 'teaching' or 'learning'. With the ultimate aim of education being to 'educate' students, research must focus on ways to enhance teaching to support learning.
